Allie began her yogic journey in 2010. As a high school student, she initially adopted yoga as a form of physical activity. What stuck, however, was not the physical aspect but rather the introspective quality and connection with one’s self the practice fostered. Moving forward 6 years, Allie completed her 200h Hatha Vinyasa YTT in Gili Meno, Indonesia. As a teacher Allie places emphasis on creating an inclusive and accessible space that allows students to be comfortable yet vulnerable simultaneously. She speaks to the marriage of breath with movement, and how the bonding of these two elements is both grounding and liberating. Allie has proudly been part of the Chandra Yoga Shala community since 2017.
