Monica came to yoga for a way to deepen her flexibility to benefit her university golf career. She started her Ashtanga practice the first day she started yoga and instantly fell in love. Not only did she use the practice for strength, but also to relieve stress through her school year. After she graduated, her spirit was calling her to teach yoga, so she obtained her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification at Chrysalis Yoga in Burlington, Ontario. She is also a certified Reiki practitioner and loves to incorporate yoga and Reiki together to cleanse the body and bring in new and abundant energy. Monica aims to provide a grounded and healing environment for her students while physically challenging them with traditional yoga postures.
