Ashtanga – Guided

Based on the Ashtanga yoga method, the Primary Series is a specific sequence of asana (postures) connecting pranayama (breath), movement (vinyasa), and gaze (dristi). Taught with little instruction, practitioners move rhythmically to the ocean-like sound of the breath that fills the room and carries the student through their practice. It is recommended that students attend Mysore before attending this class. Some familiarity with the Primary Series would be beneficial to the student.
